About the job
You will be part of an international team located in France, reporting to the Manager Operations Aftermarket and Site Director. Internally, you will collaborate with customer service, supply chain and warehouse managers in other countries. You will oversee a team of approximately 7 people in the low season, going up to 10 in the high season.
As a warehouse manager, you are responsible for all aspects of daily operation of the warehouse in Valenciennes, coordinating logistics, and fostering a collaborative team environment to meet organizational goals effectively.
You’ll lead and optimize warehouse operations, ensuring smooth workflows, and maintaining high standards of efficiency and safety.
Besides that, you are involved in projects focused on improvements of processes within logistic discipline and in the annual budgeting process for costs and staff planning.
What are you going to do as a Warehouse Manager?

· Strategic Planning: o Planning and controlling warehouse operations, inbound and outbound, with respect to requested receipt/shipment dates, utilization; o Develop and implement logistics strategies to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations.

· Inventory Management: o Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment of stock. o Inventory control and cycle stock count execution;

· Supplier Coordination: o Liaise with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues that arise.

· Transportation Management: o Oversee the transportation of goods, ensuring compliance with regulations and optimizing routes.

· Warehouse Management: o Supervise warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods. o Optimizing warehouse processes to increase efficiency of processes; o Control over shipment differences and their documentation within the ERP system; o Negotiate with external vendors (e.g. transportation companies). o Ensure safety and Security

· Team Leadership (Up to 10 FTE) o Lead and manage a team of logistics staff, providing training and development o Organize individual and annual reviews o Train on Logistic Procedures

· Performance Monitoring: o Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement improvements to enhance efficiency.

· Customer Service: o Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing and resolving any logistics-related issues.
What do you bring as a Warehouse Manager?

Experience in Warehouse Manager or similar office position – 3 years

Experience and understanding of similar work and administrative procedures (WMS)

Bachelor Supply Chain / Logistics

Fluent French and English is a must

Proven Leadership Skills

Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel)
