About the job

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective financial operations within our Romanian entity.

• Become familiar with the company’s business specifics, financial processes, and document circulation to ensure proper accounting and administrative operations
• Maintain full accounting records in accordance with applicable accounting and tax regulations
• Coordinate month‑end closing activities, ensuring timely and accurate financial results
• Post fixed assets, record depreciation, and update asset valuations
• Prepare and submit all required tax declarations, including WHT
• Calculate CIT (Corporate Income Tax) advance payments
• Prepare monthly and periodic VAT declarations
• Cooperate with public institutions such as the Tax Office, Social Insurance Institution Central Statistical Office, and National Bank
• Support the accounting team in daily operations, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Maintain regular communication with the company's headquarters in the Netherlands regarding financial and administrative matters
• Ensure compliance with internal document flow procedures and maintain proper filing and archiving of financial documents

• 3+ years of experience in accounting or a similar financial role
• Strong knowledge of statutory accounting principles, tax regulations, and financial reporting
• Hands-on experience working with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 (AX2012) or similar ERP systems
• Solid experience with fixed assets, month‑end closing, VAT, CIT, and WHT processes
• Ability to perform effectively in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment, adapting quickly to process changes, digital tools, and evolving business needs
• You are responsible and can be trusted with a physically demanding but key operational role.
