About the job

As a Security Officer at NRF, you will be instrumental in protecting our digital assets and ensuring a secure IT environment across the organization. Working closely with system administrators, external partners, and the broader IT team, you will implement and oversee cybersecurity measures that align with industry best practices. This hybrid role blends strategic planning with hands-on execution and is ideal for a proactive, experienced professional. You will also drive security awareness among employees and report key metrics and developments.

What are you going to do?

  • Define and drive the organization's security vision, policies, and standards.
  • Collaborate with system engineers to implement and maintain robust security infrastructure.
  • Coordinate with the Security Operations Center (SOC) to monitor, detect, and respond to security incidents.
  • Develop and deliver effective security awareness training programs across the organization.
  • Prepare and present regular security reports and risk assessments to the IT Director.
  • Stay current with evolving threats, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity trends to proactively enhance defenses.

What do you bring?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in IT, preferably in a cybersecurity-focused role.
  • Strong knowledge of security technologies (AV,VPN,ZTNA, Firewall, IDS/IPS, EDR, SIEM, SOAR).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Hands-on experience with security solutions from Microsoft, Fortinet, Symantec, Cisco, and Splunk is a plus
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are highly desirable.
