About the job

The Quality Inspector focuses on ensuring product and process compliance through hands-on inspections and process oversight. This includes conducting physical inspections of production, materials, and finished products, as well as managing the calibration process by overseeing measurement equipment and organizing its calibration. The Quality Inspector handles non-conformities by preparing detailed reports and coordinating with procurement to address issues with suppliers. Additionally, the role involves monitoring processes to ensure they adhere to established instructions and verifying measurements taken by operators to maintain quality standards.

• • Conduct Physical Inspections: Perform inspections of raw material, semi-finished and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Manage Calibration Processes: Oversee measurement equipment, ensuring it is properly calibrated and organizing its regular calibration.
• Address Non-Conformities: Identify non-conforming materials or products, create detailed non-conformance reports, and coordinate with procurement to address issues with suppliers.
• Monitor Process Compliance: Ensure that all processes are executed in accordance with established instructions and quality guidelines.
• Verify Operator Measurements: Check and validate the measurements taken by operators to ensure accuracy and consistency.

• Technical skills: measurement techniques, use of calipers and micrometers, ability to read measurements
• Ability to read technical drawings
• Experience in a similar position
• Technical education
• English at a communicative level
• Nice to see: experience with FARO ARM, and experience in a manufacturing company
