As a Junior Procurement Data Base Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the procurement team in the efficient purchasing data analysis, improving product availability and decision-making process for the organization.

About the job

Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with data analysis, vendor evaluation, and change management. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop a strong foundation in procurement practices and gain valuable experience in the field.

What are you going to do as a Junior Procurement Data Base Administrator?

  • Design, maintain and optimize our supply chain data input to systems to ensure efficient and effective operations.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities of the supply chain data systems, including database updates and maintenance.
  • Identify and troubleshoot any issues with the supply chain data systems and work to implement solutions promptly.
  • Design analytical tools and reports around the Supply Chain environment supporting the decision-making process.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data is accurate and up-to-date, and to ensure that our supply chain processes are running smoothly.
  • Maintain good relationships with suppliers, forwarders, carriers, and the company’s business partners with a “can do” attitude and problem-solving approach.

What do you bring as a Junior Procurement Data Base Administrator?

  • Good practical use of English both, written and verbal.
  • Minimum of 1 year of working experience, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Good knowledge of Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving attitude, with a focus on attention to detail.
  • Experience with database management systems and ERP systems will be an asset.
  • INCOTERMS 2020 and logistics environment knowledge will be an asset.
