About the job
The Senior Head of Finance is focused on improving the operational financial process. This is done by translating professional knowledge and skills to the Finance team and innovation of the operational financial process. Finance Management provides the management with the correct financial figures and liquidity forecasts and organizes cash management. The team also organizes the AO/IC processes (administrative organization/internal control) and the Senior Head of Finance and his/her team are also concerned with financial strategic matters, including tax, legal and insurance matters.
What are you going to do as Senior Head of Finance?

Oversee and manage day-to-day accounting operations.

Ensures preparation of financial reports, budgets and all planning and control analysis activities as needed.

Monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow to optimize financial performance.

Ensure full compliance with government regulations and financial reporting standards.

Develop and implement financial plans to ensure the company's financial health.

Prepare and analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making.

Produce external financial reports for banks, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.

Ensures accuracy and consistency in application of Accounting Policy and Standards and appropriate internal controls.

Overall project accounting responsibility of projects, including compliance with revenue and profit recognition policies.

Collaborates with other Country Finance Managers, Business Controllers and key internal stakeholder groups to act in a manner that supports the global business through sharing of resources, and intelligence to optimise delivery to customers, particularly for multi-location and / or global customer projects.

Drives best in class cash management around DSO and DPO (collections efficiency and invoicing efficiency)

Stewards ongoing cash forecasting; upholds strong, visible credit risk management in the sub-region.

Identifies and contributes to the ongoing development of systems and processes to enhance capabilities, including delivery of deeper information for decision support.

Contacts with service providers in the context of financial and tax due diligence and reviews the conclusions to support transaction documents.

Identifies and supports cost reduction opportunities across the location.

Reviews funding needs, plans and forecasts cash and liquidity necessities in coordination with the rest of the Finance team.
What do you bring as Senior Head of Finance?

Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.

At least five years of relevant work experience within Financial Control in a dynamic environment.

Experience leading and supervising financial teams.

A proven track record in Financial control and leadership.

A great affinity with and a strong focus on the design of administrative organizational processes.

Strong proficiency in financial software and systems. Familiar with ERP and BI environments, such as Microsoft Axapta (valuable but not mandatory). NRF will start the implementation process of Dynamics 365 beginning 2025.

Exceptional technical and analytical accounting skills, specifically in the areas or financial modelling, analysis and reporting.

Extensive budgeting and forecasting experience.

Good understanding of relevant legislation and internal and external compliance requirements.

Ability to identify financial issues, develop and execute mitigating actions.

Strong analytical and numeracy skills.
