About the job

In order to continue to serve our growing number of customers, we are looking for an enthusiastic Customer Service Manager to supervise our Customer Service team and improve processes and cooperation with other departments in the company. In this role you will be responsible for providing direction to the day-to-day activities of the Customer Service employees, which are focused on identifying and meeting international customer needs. After an introduction period you will be the expert and you will help the team to set the right priorities, train them on customer excellence and encourage professional & personal growth. Your challenge consists in taking the team to a higher level from order processing to real customer service.

Your core responsibilities

  • Participate, coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the team
  • Positively lead and influence team members to partner together to achieve individual and business goals
  • Project management of Customer Service related projects
  • Partner with Supply Chain to provide proactive support for all aspects of service to the customer
  • Initiate and implement continuous improvement initiatives and focus on more efficient and effective processes to increase the quality of our customer service and achieve long term customer satisfaction.

What do you bring?

In order to be successful in this role you need to be organized and able to keep an overview. As our customer service manager you have a clear vision about what great customer service is and how you want to develop this in the future. You have the skills to mentor, develop and coach team members to achieve performance expectations. In addition, you are able to deal with pressure and to manage tasks and projects until completion. Furthermore you:

  • have proven leadership experience in customer service
  • have a bachelor degree or equivalent ability
  • have an affinity with technical products and good competence in data analysis
  • have knowledge of MS Office, knowledge of AX/Microsoft Dynamics or SAP is a plus
  • have strong communication skills and a good proficiency in Spanish and English, Portuguese will be taken into account
  • have a good level of stress resistance and ability to deal with different parties and projects and to prioritize accordingly.
