We are looking for a motivated and skilled Business Development Manager for the South Africa District (SAF) who will drive sales growth and expand our presence across multiple African regions.

ABOUT THE ROLE
In this role, you will work closely with regional teams, customers, and internal stakeholders to ensure successful business development and sales growth. The ideal candidate combines strong sales and business development expertise with excellent communication skills, strategic thinking, and a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?

Deliver the sales budget for the South Africa District.

Visit customers, their branches, and their 2nd level customers.

Plan and report travel activities across the region.

Provide monthly Business Development Reports from the region.

Support regions with technical and marketing activities.

Hold seasonal, trade, and marketing campaigns.

Provide customers with sales data using company BI/Power BI tools.

Map the competition in the region.

Cooperate with local ITG representatives.

Travel to Europe 1-3 times per year.

Spend around 80% of working time traveling.

West Africa: Benin, Burkina Faso, Cabo Verde, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Ivory Coast, Liberia, Mali, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Togo.

East Africa: Burundi, Comoros, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Rwanda, Seychelles, Somalia, South Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Zimbabwe.

Central Africa: Angola, Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Congo (Brazzaville), Democratic Republic of the Congo, Equatorial Guinea, Gabon, Sao Tome and Principe.

Southern Africa: Botswana, Eswatini (Swaziland), Lesotho, Namibia, South Africa, Zimbabwe.
WHAT DO YOU BRING?
Proven experience in business development or sales management, ideally in multi-country African markets.
Strong knowledge of sales planning, reporting, and BI tools (Power BI preferred).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively (around 80% of the time).
