About the job

As a Business Development Manager in our automotive division, you are responsible for finding and cultivating new business opportunities and facilitate growth within a strong base of existing accounts. You will be part of the European sales organization and you will be directly supported by the local customer service & distribution center. You develop, together with the European sales team, the customer portfolio and strategy. You will collaborate closely with the international team and report to the Regional Director Sales & Operations.

What are you going to do as a Business Development Manager?

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and revenue growth
  • Overseeing and managing the sales pipeline, ensuring that leads are followed up promptly, and converting opportunities into long-term clients
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential customers, as well as collaborating with internal teams like sales and marketing
  • Actively participating in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to build partnerships and enhance NRF’s market presence.

What do you bring as Business Development Manager?

  • Good knowledge of the German automotive aftermarket on regional and national level is a must;
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar position working for the international aftermarket supplier or automotive distributor as an account manager or in product management;
  • Technical background in automotive;
  • You must bring a high level of enthusiasm, energy and desire to be successful;
  • Data oriented sales approach;
  • Comfortable hunting new business;
  • Analytical but pragmatic, proactive person;
  • Open for traveling (driving licence B);
  • Native German & fluent English (speaking and writing).
