About the job

As a Auto Parts Sourcing Specialist, you will take ownership of specific product groups within the NRF range, turning new product requests into successful developments. From the moment a request is received, you’ll lead the sourcing and development process — preparing technical drawings, requesting and comparing quotations, selecting and negotiating with suppliers, and managing projects from sample phase to validation and launch.

• Initiate and manage new product development projects based on requests from Product Management.
• Prepare and send technical drawings and RFQs (Requests for Quotation) to suppliers.
• Select and negotiate with suppliers from the existing supplier base.
• Send samples and monitor project progress (lead time 2–12 months).
• Coordinate sample validation with Quality Engineers.
• Track and report on all ongoing projects.
• Support the Purchasing Director with supplier database maintenance and various requests.
• Follow market trends and negotiate supply conditions in line with agreements.
• Collaborate closely with international teams in Spain, Poland, Italy, and the Netherlands.

• You have completed a bachelor/master degree
• You are ready for a second step in your career - 5 or more years of relevant working experience (for example in a technical purchasing position)
• Experience in the aftermarket would be a big advantage
• You can tell a Ford Focus from an Opel Astra - meaning you have affinity with technology and a basic interest in the automotive.
• Excel holds no secrets for you when it comes to functionalities like Vlookup and Pivot tables
• You have strong communication and negotiation skills, you are commercially minded and relationship oriented
• You have good knowledge of English, both written and spoken. Ability to communicate in Chinese would be nice to have
• You are willing to make business trips within Europe but potentially in China.
