As Director Sales & Operations DACH/BNL/UK, you will hold full responsibility for the Profit & Loss (P&L) of NRF’s Dutch Aftermarket entity. In this critical role, you will play a pivotal part in shaping both the commercial success and operational efficiency of the company.
Your primary responsibility will be to oversee a diverse team of 8 Business Development Managers, who are tasked with driving business growth across the United Kingdom, Benelux, and the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland).
Together with your team, you will pursue ambitious goals, including achieving annual growth targets, focusing on expanding relationships with existing accounts while actively seeking new customer acquisitions. Your strategy will be data-driven, with a clear focus on maximizing revenue and identifying opportunities for growth.
In addition to your commercial responsibilities, you will oversee the daily operations of a warehouse with 25-40 FTE and a customer service department with 7 FTE. Both the Warehouse Manager and Customer Service Manager will report directly to you. Marketing and pricing also fall under your scope, with support from 2 dedicated local FTE. Each departmental manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of their teams while ensuring that their objectives align with the strategic goals you establish.
In this role, you will work closely with both local and international finance teams, collaborating to optimize the financial performance and profitability of the entity.
You will be responsible for managing relationships with key external stakeholders, including logistics partners and key account customers, ensuring that service levels and partnerships are upheld to the highest standards. This role will involve frequent travel.
You will report to both the Commercial Director of Aftermarket and the CEO of NRF.
